Every year on March 8, International Women’s Day invites us to pause and recognise the strength, creativity, and resilience women bring into the world — not only through big, visible milestones, but through the quiet work that keeps life, culture, and community moving forward.
At GREYMINT, Women’s Day is not just a message, it’s part of our day-to-day. We work with women artisans who carry living traditions in their hands. Many of the women we collaborate with are elders, with an average age of around 75, and their craft is not a trend or a technique. It’s heritage, memory, and mastery passed down through generations.

Supporting these women means protecting more than a product. It means helping keep endangered skills alive, creating dignified income through fair collaboration, and ensuring this knowledge isn’t lost to fast production and disposability. In a world that often moves too quickly, we choose to move with care, valuing experience, patience, and the beauty of time.

This is our way of aligning with the bigger picture: a future where women are supported, seen, and economically empowered; where communities can sustain themselves; where responsible production honours both people and place.

At GREYMINT, celebrating Women’s Day means honoring this spirit through intention. Through conscious choices, support for artisan communities and a belief in slow living that values depth over speed. It means recognizing that strength can be gentle and that influence can be quiet yet powerful.

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the women who create with meaning, and the hands that keep tradition alive.
