This durable and flexible material has been carefully woven using techniques passed down through generations, ensuring each basket's unique character and strength.

Complementing the wicker is the use of buldan, the first textile known in human history. Originating from Denizli, Turkey, this fabric was made using ancient weaving techniques that date back thousands of years.

Creating the GREYMINT Basket Bag was a journey filled with exploration and learning. We traversed the tiny patios of Mediterranean islands and engaged with local artisans. Every cup of tea shared, and every story heard, enriched the essence of this bag. It symbolizes the countless hours of research and the deep connections we formed with these 4 skilled artisans; 3 of them being female and 1 of them male, their ages averaging 70.
